The AISI/SS 436 / 436L Plates are the steel plates which are made of ferritic stainless steel. They are generally austenitic stainless steel. It has the best working at annealed conditions. It is having high ductility and low electric conductivity and thus it is the best kind of steel plate for the industrial purpose in every kind of industry. This grade of stainless steel plate is resistive towards corrosion due to oxidation and other toxic gases. They are very appropriate for the use in the chemical industries. They are also resistive to nitric and sulphuric acid and also they are resistive to the atmospheric moisture and steam vapors. |
